The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is a global leader in the fight against cancer. Its mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.

The American Heart Association funds cardiovascular medical research, educates consumers on healthy living and fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke.

The Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission furthers its mission to power a safer, better Greater Kansas City community through its four programs: the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline, the Metropolitan Community Service Program (MCSP), Second Chance Risk Reduction Center, and the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE).

Held in Overland Park, the Kansas City India Fest celebrates the history and culture of India.
